About Me

First and foremost, I am wife to a wonderful man and the mother of two amazing boys, ages 5 and 7. We enjoy living in the Atlanta area.

I have been an educator for nearly twenty years. My career includes experiences as a middle school math and science teacher, an elementary teacher, a presenter at state and national conferences, a county level school improvement consultant and a professional development coordinator for a large urban school district.

I am now an independent K-12 education consultant and founder of Performance ED. I have an in depth understanding of how continuous improvement processes informed by student data can be a driving force in keeping teachers focused on student learning. Some may call me an expert in differentiated instruction, the truth is I've had the opportunity to learn from very talented educators. I also have experience helping schools develop Professional Learning Communities. By using protocols, I help schools build a collaborative culture and keep teams focused on the work.
